To search for a specific event, use the BROWSE option which will allow you to search by event or facility to pinpoint specific dates.

 

NOTE:   NOT ALL events, meetings, etc. that are scheduled are shown on this events schedule.  Therefore a room that appears available may not be available due to an academic event, building hours constraints, a private/unlisted event or the setup/teardown or another event.


If the event requires the President’s attendance, please contact Mrs. Dee Stalvey via e-mail (stalvey@calu.edu) to confirm availability.


Reserving Facilities

Please familiarize yourself with Cal-U’s Reservations Policies and Procedures (click here)  and read “How to make a reservation” (click here) before proceeding.  Then select “My Account”.  If you’ve already created an account then you can just ‘Log in’ and submit your request.  If you’ve never accessed our reservation request system then you’ll need to select ‘Create an Account’ from the menu above and fill out the information requested.  Once you create an account, you will be notified within three (3) days whether or not your account has been approved.

Kara Alumni House (Booker Great Room)

Requests for the Booker Great Room and all other rooms will be handled and approved by the Office of the President. Send requests via email to Mrs. Dee Stalvey (stalvey@calu.edu.) Please note that the use of the Great Room is limited to University-wide sponsored events and at the sole discretion of the Office of the President. The scheduling of private social events will not be permitted.

Room requests can be made no later than five days prior to an event; requests later than that must be made through the appropriate scheduler (click here).  Please note that reservations are not final until you have received an email confirmation.
